Congratulations to both Jack and Darragh who ran in the Cross Country Connacht finals over the weekend in Mohill Co. Leitrim with great success, we are very proud of both boys!

Our pupils had a fantastic day out in Renmore yesterday for the Galway Primary Schools Cross Country Athletics event, congratulations to all, best of luck to those who qualified also for the finals next week!

A word of thanks to Seán Canney TD for his visit to school today. He spoke with our student council about democracy and then met with our pupils from 3rd – 6th classes where he chatted to them about his journey into politics / life as a politician

We welcome our new Junior Infant pupils to school in Belclare. They are enjoying school life with teachers Ms Murphy & Mc Carroll!

Congratulations to our pupils & past pupils on their achievements at the weekend in Strokestown for the Connacht Fleadh. Wonderful performances by pupils competing both individually as well as with grúpaí cheoil and céilí bands from Belclare Comhaltas, with great success across all age categories. We wish the very best to pupils from the U15 céilí band & pupils who qualified individually to participate at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Wexford in August. Go n-éirí an t-adh libh!
