Congratulations to our pupils and past pupils who are members of Belclare Comhaltas on their fantastic achievements at the County Fleadh last week in Gort. Well done to our pupils who competed at their very first Fleadh in such great numbers! Among the many successes over the weekend, a special mention to the U15 grupa ceol on placing 1st, this is a huge achievement. Congratulations and well done also to the U12 grupa ceol, U15 céilí band and the U18 céilí band who all placed 2nd. They, along with a number of soloists, singers, lilters, duets & trios now qualify to perform at the Connacht Fleadh in Ballinasloe in July. […]

Our Victorious, youthful girls team won the Raftery LGFA shield after a nail biting encounter with Ballinderry on Thursday last. A fabulous display of ladies football in the summer sunshine which will live long in the memories of all involved. Post match celebrations followed in Supermac’s to cap off a memorable evening.
