Mr Larkin’s 3rd class constructed their own Homes as a STEM project. From igloos, caravans, light houses and many more!

Our pupils had a fantastic day out in Renmore yesterday for the Galway Primary Schools Cross Country Athletics event, congratulations to all, best of luck to those who qualified also for the finals next week!

A word of thanks to Seán Canney TD for his visit to school today. He spoke with our student council about democracy and then met with our pupils from 3rd – 6th classes where he chatted to them about his journey into politics / life as a politician

Our pupils enjoyed a lovely day of football at the St Jarlath’s blitz yesterday!

We welcome our new Junior Infant pupils to school in Belclare. They are enjoying school life with teachers Ms Murphy & Mc Carroll!

Congratulations to our pupils & past pupils on their achievements at the weekend in Strokestown for the Connacht Fleadh. Wonderful performances by pupils competing both individually as well as with grúpaí cheoil and céilí bands from Belclare Comhaltas, with great success across all age categories. We wish the very best to pupils from the U15 céilí band & pupils who qualified individually to participate at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Wexford in August. Go n-éirí an t-adh libh!

Our 6th class pupils enjoyed a lovely trip to Dublin on Wednesday for a tour of Leinster House, many thanks to Seán Canney for arranging this for us.

Our 1st and 2nd class pupils enjoyed a lovely tour to the aquarium recently with a stop at the playground and supermacs on the way home, much fun was had by all!

Our Junior and Senior infant classes enjoyed a great day out in Turoe recently for their school tour, much fun was had by all!
